Review: The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream

Although hand cream is not something I really blog about, it is a necessity in my life - especially around this time of year when it starts to get a bit colder. I get really bad dry skin on my hand, painfully so at times, so from this time of the year until about March, I moisturise my hands constantly, after I've washed my hands and whenever I feel they're not so soft.
I don't usually stay loyal to a particular hand cream, there's about 5 that I like and I know works, so I rotate them.
However, I recently discovered this, and have fallen in love with it.
This hand cream really does smell like almonds - anyone that has used anything from this range will know the smell - and it's quite a thin cream that melts in your skin without hassle. You don't need to use loads to make it work, and because of the tub it's in, it's easy to squeeze every last drop out and still be tidy enough to pop in your handbag without worrying it'll leak everywhere!
I used to love the almond hand scrub that Body Shop did, but it seems to have been discontinued as I can't find it anywhere! :(
I shall definitely be repurchasing this when the tub runs out!
Have you used this? What did you think? x

This is a scheduled post, I'm currently just getting back into the swing of things at Uni, I'm probably really pissed right now, or hungover. Maybe both. If you want me, I'm still on twitter  - my personal twitter @katylouiseg is probably better than my blog twitter @sirensandbells for the time being. Back soon!

  1. I haven't tried this one in particular but I have the hemp protection hand cream in the same sort of packaging. Unfortunately, I found my tube split as soon as I had to squeeze too hard to get anything out.
But the hemp smelt nice and made my hands feel super soft. I was working as a maid at the time and it was essential with all the water and chemicals being used.
