Review: Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Cream & Toner

I picked this up a little while ago when Boots Botanics was offering a 1/3 off all of their range, not really knowing if I'd like it. I've never really used Boots Botanics, but the new packaging looked good so I gave it a go. I'm glad I did!
The cleansing cream is a lovely soft cream, gentle enough not to irritate my sensitive skin, but stubborn enough to remove all my eye make-up, fantastic!
The toner removes all the remains the cleansing cream hasn't been able to grab, but I do find I have to use moisturiser right after otherwise my skin is very tight and dry, although I find this with all toners I use, not just this one specifically. I wouldn't say there's much of a smell to it, it smells quite fresh, but that's about it.

It states that it 'brightens skin'. I have to say, I've not seen a massive difference in the brightness of my skin, but I don't use it every day so I may not be the best judge. I tend to only wear a full face of make-up once or twice a week, so that's when I use the cleanser/toner. Generally, the only make-up I wear is mascara, so I just use a wipe to remove that. Perhaps, if I were use the cleanser/toner every day, I would notice a difference.

They are not amazing products, they're not magic and they don't do handstands, but they are decent, good for the price, and I'd probably repurchase them again.

This is a scheduled post, I'm currently just getting back into the swing of things at Uni, I'm probably really pissed right now, or hungover. Maybe both. If you want me, I'm still on twitter - my personal twitter @katylouiseg is probably better than my blog twitter @sirensandbells for the time being. Back soon!
