Weekend Wishlist #10

#10

As you can see, a LOT of Topshop in my wishlist this weekend, probably helped by the massive sale they're having right now. I went into my local Topshop yesterday, perused the sale, and bought...nothing. Shocking, I know, but I'm a little skint what with it being the end of the month, and I couldn't find anything I really wanted. However, the two jumpers here are things I definitely wanted, but couldn't find anywhere in the shop! They're out of stock on the website too, I'm sad. I love the spikes on the second jumper!
I've been wanting to make more effort on my eyebrows for a while, I wax them or get them threaded, but then I leave them. I don't pencil them in, or anything. So they look a bit..forgotten once I've made up the rest of my face. Therefore a full palette like this might be a good place to start.
I'm looking for a new blush, and I tried this on in the Topshop and I love the colour of it, and I love the idea of getting a cream blush, as I've only ever used powder blush before.
I know I definitely don't need anymore Topshop lipsticks, but these two are gorgeous. I love that the first one is a dusky rose nude, I don't have enough nudes in my life!
This last dress, I'm sure you've all seen around, it's beautiful. I don't think I could ever wear it though, but I still want it in my wardrobe!

I plan on spending the weekend applying for more jobs - which is such a chore and very depressing, I wish I could just find something quicker! The weather is still horrendous though, so at least I don't feel like I'm missing out on lovely weather. I get my exam results on Friday, I'm dreading them. Although first year results don't count, I still want to do as well as possible! Does anyone still have exams going on, and how are they going?

Review: Topshop lipsicks in 'Brighton Rock' and 'Idol'

So, for the past few months, every time I have passed the Topshop make up section, I have basically salivated over the beautiful make-up they have on offer, especially the lipsticks. But for ages, I didn't allow myself to purchase any, using the excuse of 'I need no more make-up.' Clearly, this didn't last long. As I hadn't bought any new make-up for a while, I thought I'd let myself have a little treat, and so I bought 'Brighton Rock', and more recently, 'Idol.'

I am a big lover of bright pink lipsticks, and both of these caught my attention as soon as I laid my eyes on them.

'Brighton Rock' is a gorgeous bright, candy pink colour, and I love it on me just as much as I loved it in the shop. I think it would look brilliant with a summer tan, but alas, I am the palest person around, so I'll never know!

'Idol' is a brighter, more blue-toned pink, and personally, my favourite. I love how vivid it is, it jumped out at me in the shop, and does so in my make-up collection too!

Both retail for £8 in store or on the Topshop website, however, I have a feeling 'Brighton Rock' has been discontinued as I can't find it in any shops, you can still buy it on the Topshop website here though.

Which is your favourite?

Just a heads up, I'm going away for a few days tomorrow to see my boyfriend, so I'll probably schedule a post, but I won't be around as much. I'll still be active on my twitter and instagram (@sirensandbells) though. To those who live apart from their other halves when they're home from Uni etc, how on earth do you cope?! Me and my boyfriend live 3 hours apart when we're at home, it's really hard!

PS. I recently got Pinterest. I don't really understand it, but it seems like a more organised Tumblr, which is fantastic! Come follow me here.  What's your Pinterest?

Topshop Vectras

Hello! I know, I know. World's worst blogger award should go to me. I have been horrendous in terms of blogging since I've been at Uni, I just never had the time! But now, exams are over, I have no more assignments, and I am home for Summer, SO, blogging should get a bit better :) And how I've missed it!

So, I thought I would begin by showing my favourite new shoes. I have bought quite a few new shoes recently, including some Vans and Converse shoes that I shall leave to a post of its own, and show you these beauties instead. The gorgeous Topshop Vectras. As soon as I saw the spikey shoes, I was in love. I am a big fan of spikes, and a fan of comfy shoes, and these are both! IMG_0671 IMG_0676 IMG_0673

The spikes aren't sharp enough to cause any harm, which is helpful as I am very clumsy, and at £28, I find them at quite a reasonable price - I've spent much more money on shoes I never wear and don't love as much as these. When I originally saw the shoes, I saw them in black, but couldn't find them again, so bought the nude instead. HOWEVER, I went into Topshop today, and saw the black ones! I didn't buy them, but I wish I had, and I plan on going back and buying them tomorrow. I know it may be silly to have two pairs of shoes in different colours, but I love them and they're comfortable so why not!
You can also buy them in white, pink and green, although I don't love those colours as much ;)

Also, you may have noticed (or not,) that I've changed my layout a little bit - mainly the colour and the header. I would have changed more, but HTML is a nightmare for me, so I can't do too much!

I promise, I won't leave it so long until my next blog post! I have a few ideas that I plan on blogging soon :) x
