Would you believe this is my first Essie polish?! I've heard about their polishes from just about everyone, reading post after post, yet I never got around to buying them. At £7.99, they're on the pricier side to me, but after sending a tweet out asking for recommendations for the perfect nail polish, this answer cropped up quite a few times.

This polish is a gorgeous colour - a creamy, pinky nude, completely opaque in two coats. I have almost a hundred nail polishes, and this is different to every single one I've ever owned. I am in love. It makes my nails look gorgeous, and lasts a few days without chipping (I don't own a top coat at them moment!)

I can't believe it has taken me this long to buy an Essie polish, this certainly will not be my last!

What do you think of Fiji? Do you like Essie polishes? What should my next one be?

  1. This is so pretty! I've never actually tried any Essie polishes! I keep meaning to but I've never gotten round to it.

  2. I haven't tried any Essie polishes either, I've read some good and bad reviews about the formulation, and I'd rather stick to something cheaper which I know will work, like Models Own. This is a pretty colour though! xo

  3. Essie nail polishes are really nice quality but that does sound a tad bit expensive. It's cheaper over here :/ That is still a very pretty and classic color. It's one a lot of nail girls say every one needs so I think you picked a smart color to try out :)

  6. I wish I liked essie polishes more; I love the colors they come out with but find the formula is really inconsistent and less superior than many other cheaper polishes on the market. This looks lovely against your skin color though!! :)
