NOTD: Models Own Indian Ocean

As you can tell from this pretty pastel colour, I am impatient for Spring. I've been wearing a lot of nudes recently, but Indian Ocean caught my eye yesterday so I decided to use it for the first time since Summer!
As you you will have noticed, I have used Barry M's Blue Moon underneath Indian Ocean, for the fact that otherwise, it takes 5/6 coats for it to be opaque. I'm not exaggerating unfortunately. I thought Blue Moon matched the blue in the polish quite well, and I'm pleased with the effect. I've used lilac underneath it before which worked beautifully - preferable to this combination actually - and I think I shall baby pink at some time soon, to match the gorgeous pink shimmers running through it.
I love this polish, it reminds me of mermaids! I just wish it didn't take so much to make opaque!

What do you think of this colour, have you used it before? If so, did you layer it onto another colour? x

  3. Oooh, it's so pretty *_* I think this would look really nice under a lilac or pink, just because they're so much blue it wouldn't have trouble coming through! :)

  4. I have this but I've never tried using it on it's own, I always use a base coat. I think it also looks good over darker blues/greens x
