As some of you will know if you follow my instagram or twitter, before I cut my hair short, I had half my hair adorned with this gorgeous vibrant blue colour. I got quite a few compliments on my hair so I thought I'd do a little post about the hair dye.

So basically, I'm in love with it. I now have 3 bottles in my room, waiting to be slathered on the ends of my hair!

Before I bought the dye, I was scouring Amazon and trying to work out what dye would be best. I chose Renbow because it was pretty cheap - less than £5, and the colour seemed vibrant. I chose 'Capri Blue' because it seemed the most vivid of the colours.

I was slightly worried about how to apply it, but it seemed easy enough. Wash your hair, and whilst your hair is still wet, apply the dye, wait for 30 minutes, then wash it off. I am terrible at doing my hair, and even I couldn't get it too wrong. I mean, I accidentally got hair dye all over my arms and bathroom, but I didn't mess up my hair!

As you can see, the dye came up very bright, but this may be because I already had bleach on this part of my hair from a few years ago. The lighter your hair is, the more likely it is that you'll get a more vibrant colour.

It's a semi-permanent dye that's meant to last around 6 weeks, and I would touch it up once a month or so to keep it nice and bright.

If you're considering dying your hair a bright colour, I recommend these, there's vast array of colours available and they're affordable!

Do you use bright colour hair dye? What company would you recommend? x
