My Nail Polishes for A/W: Burgundy!

Barry M - Raspberry, Nails Inc - Tate, Ciate - Dangerous Affair

Today is my second installment A/W products series! I thought I'd show you my three favourites burgundy's, because I really do love them. I can't pick a favourite, I wear these three so much, the colours are perfect for this time of year, they compliment my pale skin, and they apply beautifully! I blogged about Dangerous Affair here.

I plan on posting about my favourite lip products for A/W soon, so that will be coming up! That being said, they probably won't be split into several different posts, as I have SO much more nail polish, as some of you already know!

My Nail Polishes for A/W: Nudes

Models Own - Grey Day, Models Own - Utopia, Topshop Nails - Barefoot, Essie - Fiji, Natural Collection - Winter Moon.

So today I thought I'd share with you my favourite nude polishes for Autumn/Winter. This is the first in a little series I'll be doing on my favourite A/W products, so keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks!

As much as I love wearing darker shades, sometimes I'm in the mood for a more natural polish, and these five are the best for A/W I think. Utopia and Fiji are potentially two of my favourite ever polishes anyway, so it's no surprise these are here!

Winter Moon is a gorgeous silver colour, I have fallen in love with it lately! I featured it on my October Favourites and no doubt I'll post a full review soon!

What are your favourite A/W nude polishes? Let me know in the comments!

Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss - #107

It's taken me a while, but I'm finally reviewing one of my favourite lipsticks!

The Kate Moss Rimmel collections have been very popular in the past few months, and I have been entirely enamored with them.
I prefer matte lipsticks anyway, so when I saw this berry red in Boots, I picked it up straight away - who cares if it isn't a summer colour? I've been wearing this lipstick for months, regardless of the seasonal colour preferences!
#107 is a long lasting lip colour that's fantastically pigmented for a good price. Admittedly, it's not the best if you have super dry lips, but that's nothing a bit of lip balm can't handle, right?

These lipsticks retail for £5.49 in Boots/Superdrug, but there's always deals on!

Have you tried this? What did you think?

Review: John Frieda Full Repair Range

So last month, when I was asked to review the new John Frieda Full Repair range*, I jumped at the chance. I'm constantly on the look out for something that'll make my hair luscious and beautiful, and I'll try most things. I have damaged hair, and I have done for years. That being said, I lopped off about 8 inches off my hair in July, and my hair has been in much better condition since then. Still, I still execute damage control!

The range consists of Shampoo and Conditioner and a repairing oil elixir, that's meant to 'hydrate and rescue' hair, replenishing moisture without weighing hair down (as it says on the bottle.)

I can't describe the smell, although I've tried! It's nice, yes, but I can't quite put my finger on the scent. It's more floral-ly than anything, and even then I can't quite say which flowers!

Let's get down to the nitty gritty. I have used this almost every day for 3 weeks, and have I noticed a difference? Well, no, not massively. My hair certainly isn't feeling worse, which is a bonus, and as I've plastered heat onto my hair quite a lot recently, it must be doing something. It's a bit shinier than normal, which I love which is a bonus. The oil elixir is meant to smooth and straighten hair, and I definitely noticed my hair was a lot smoother after using it, so I shall definitely be continuing with that.

All in all, although I enjoy using the shampoo and conditioner, I probably wouldn't buy it again unless it was on an offer. That being said, the elixir will make it into my 'everyday hair care' pile definitely!

Have any of you used it? What do you think?

You can purchase the full range here.

Weekend Wishlist

Weekend Wishlist

1 2 3 4 5 6 7

This week's wishlist is a lot more colourful than usual as you can see! I live in mainly white, black and blue, and as the weather grows colder, I feel the need to inject some colour into my wardrobe. I am loving Topshop's new Velvet Lips, these two colours are amazing and I feel like I need them in my life.
And how cool is that skirt? Very different to the stuff I normally wear, but beautiful none the less.

Avon Super Shock Gel Eyeliner

Today I thought I'd show you my current favourite eyeliner! I always wear eyeliner on my top lash, and have done for years. Before now, I've always used liquid eyeliners as I felt that they were easier to use, but after picking this eyeliner up a few months ago, I've become obsessed with it!

It drags along my eye line smoothly and without hassle, it's easy to remove at the end of the day and it is brilliantly pigmented. It has a thin tip so I can use it with precision (and as it's a sharpening pencil, if the tip dulls it can be easily rectified) and I can (almost) perfect flicks at the end of my eyes with it.

I have fallen in love with this eyeliner and shall definitely repurchase it when I run out - although won't be any time soon, it lasts ages! You can buy it here for £6.

October Favourites

This month's favourites are all make up! Instead of just plastering on anything I could get my hands on, I've been actively looking for certain pieces. That being said, I've not worn foundation or concealer for the past 10 days, see why here.

The first product is L'Oreal's Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. I bought this on a whim because it was on offer, needing something quickly as my Body Shop remover had just run out. I'm loving this remover, I'm glad I picked it up - I shall do a full review soon.

Next up are two Seventeen products. At the moment, they're doing a 3 for £10 offer, and I picked up these two and a primer. The foundation is fantastic, gives good coverage without being too cakey and lasts all day. The concealer is amazing. I suffer from the most horrific bags, and this heavy duty concealer really helps cover them up!

No7 Eyeshadow in 'Wheatsheaf' - This is an eyeshadow I've had for ages, but I'm beginning to really love and take advantage of. Perfect for a daytime, neutral look.

Topshop lipsticks Hazard and Depth. These two lipsticks are quite different, Hazard is a beautiful deep red, and Depth is a dark, dark purple - not for the faint hearted! As the weather has got colder, I've been reaching for these two lipsticks every day. I shall do full reviews on both soon.

Natural Collection Nail Polish in 'Winter Moon' - The perfect winter nail polish! It's a gorgeous shimmery cream/silver colour, it reminds me of snow! For only £1.99 it's brilliant!

So that's my October favourites, link me to yours in the comment section!
