Review: Lush's Big Blue Bath Ballistic

Big Blue Bath Ballistic is meant to evoke relaxation and a summer's day - which, it does. The smell was refreshing and reminded me of a spa, always a good thing when bathing.
It wasn't the most interesting ballistic to look at though - I'm used to seeing them whizz and change colour, this didn't. It fizzled quickly, and turned the water a beautiful blue colour.
And then was seaweed. I knew this ballistic had seaweed in, but I didn't anticipate this much seaweed.

As you can see, a lot of seaweed. Trying to wash your hair in a bath full of seaweed is difficult - so difficult I ended up abandoning my bath and showering instead. I did not want to come to work with seaweed in my hair. I am not a mermaid unfortuantely. Although, the seaweed did make my skin soft, which was a plus.
However, the fact I had to scrap seaweed out of the bath outweighed the plus vastly.

And that was after I'd already scraped some out.

Despite the lovely smell and softness of my skin, I wouldn't buy this again, the seaweed was far too annoying.

Have you used this one? What did you think?

  1. the color looks awesome but that's a shame about the seaweed!

  2. The seaweed would put me off too, it's no fun having to scrape it all out after a relaxing bath! xo
