The Uncertainty of an Auto-Immune Disease

Hey guys, as you will have noticed, I've not been around much recently. I wasn't sure whether to write this post but it's going to be something that continues to affect me so I thought it'd be best to document it. I've been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease. We can't say for certain which one yet, but it's most likely to be Rheumatoid Arthritis.

When a lot of people think of arthritis, I'm sure they think of their grandparents, which is fair as it affects a lot of older people. Not rheumatoid though. RA is an auto immune disease that affects the joints because of the immune system messing up - my immune system thinks my joint fluid is bad and it's attacking it, which makes my joints swollen and really, really painful. I've been limping around for two months with limited use of my legs and wrist, I'm currently typing with one hand because I can't type with my right hand, so it's nice to have an answer about what's wrong with me.

Blogging will still be sporadic I think, I'm in lots of pain even though I've been prescribed strong painkillers - painkillers that are making me super drowsy! I'm hoping to document what's going on with my health, but we'll see!

I honestly don't know much about Rheumatoid Arthritis apart from that it HURTS, so if you know more, please feel free to educate me!
